We are always looking for new members to join our
fire company! As a volunteer fire company we are always ready to
respond to any kind of incident. We protect the community in which
we live in and do our best to make our community a safer place to
live. The following is a list of positions that are currently open
to all who wish to apply. Please understand that we are a VOLUNTEER
company and DO NOT receive any pay at all. We regularly hold our
meetings every Thursday at 7pm if you wish to see a member then.

Requirements for Membership (All Positions):
-
Applicant MUST live in the coverage area of the
DUBLIN VOLUNTEER FIRE COMPANY, if you are not sure if you live
within our coverage zone please contact
us

Applicant MUST consent to a background check,
and an investigation committee will evaluate his/her application
and background information
-
Applicant MUST be willing to attend 3/4 of all
meetings (one a month), and at least 1/2 of all drills.

Applicant must understand that he or she will be
on a probationary status for ONE YEAR.

Application Process:

All applications submitted will be reviewed by
the Investigation Committee
-
Applicants will be contacted once the
Investigation Committee has met, at this point an interview will
be scheduled. This normally happens within ONE MONTH of submission
of application.

Applicants MUST be ready to take on the duties
of a member of the Dublin Vol. Fire Company as soon as they are
accepted.

Must be 18 years old at the time of
completion of an application for membership, Background check
required. |

Description of Duties
|
Firefighter have a variety of
jobs such as manning attack lines, water supply, Hazmat
operations, car accidents, ect. |

Must be at LEAST 16 years old at the time
completion of an application for membership, Background check
required |

Description of Duties
|
Junior Firefighters assist
Firefighters in there duties, however they are prohibited from
entering a burning building, going on cover calls for other
stations, Hazmat situations, using power tools, and
extinguishing car fires. |

Requirements |
Must be 18 years old at the time of
completion of an application. Background check required, Must be
sworn in by DUBLIN BORO. |

Description of Duties
|
Fire Police officers assist the
fire companies by providing traffic control to the scene of an
emergency. Fire Police Officers can also be called out when the
fire company is not. |
