Large Animal Rescue Training

After responding to a horse rescue last week, our members took the opportunity to brush up on our large animal rescue skills through hands-on training. Continuous training ensures we’re prepared to safely and effectively assist both animals and their owners when emergencies arise. Thank you to Katelyn and George Stahl, who helped make this important training possible and to our community for always supporting our efforts to stay ready.

Dublin Borough Build Collapse

On February 9, members of the Dublin Volunteer Fire Company were dispatched to North Main Street in Dublin Borough for a reported building collapse. Crews reviewed building layout, access points, utility locations, and fire protection systems to ensure preparedness in the event of an emergency. Pre-incident planning like this helps us respond quickly and safely while protecting residents and property.

EVENTS

DVFC Fund Raising Events

As a 100% volunteer organization, fundraising is essential to keeping our department running and ready to respond. The majority of our events throughout the year are dedicated to raising the funds needed to support our operations—from maintaining equipment and training our members to upgrading gear and covering day-to-day expenses. In fact, over 50% of our annual income comes directly from community-supported fundraisers. Whether it’s a Soup Day, Flea Market, or the annual Fireman's Fair, every event is a chance to connect with our neighbors while helping to fund the critical services we provide. We invite you to check out our upcoming events and join us in supporting your local fire company.
